What is FreightSafe?

The FreightSafe Warranty Program allows people consigning goods in transit to warrant those goods for loss or damage while in transit.

The need for the FreightSafe Warranty Program was identified when it became clear that people consigning goods were becoming frustrated when goods were lost or damaged in transit and the freight company was unwilling to take responsibility for this loss or damage. This would create a rift in the relationship between the customer and the freight company due to a non-alignment of expectations. The FreightSafe Warranty Program allowed customers to consign goods knowing that if their goods were lost or damaged in transit, the FreightSafe Warranty would allow them to make a claim, which would be settled in 7 days, provided the claim was genuine.
